The Hall of Wisdom

Welcome to the Abode of Learning

The halls call out to the wise - oh, come forth ye who seek knowledge of unlimited abundance, ye who dare cross into the realm of unparalleled intellect, ye who desire not only truth but divine insight into the mysteries of the universe...

And thus approaches the hero before the Hall of Wisdom. In front of him stands the great giant of knowledge. The great giant hath seen further into the universe than all others; he knows all that is true and all that is false; indeed, there come no giants before him. At the gates the giant speaks thus:

"To enter these here Halls, you must best me in a battle of logic. You may make one statement only. Climb thee onto my shoulders, then I shall speak what you speak and nothing other than what you speak. If you speak the truth and I follow with a falsehood, only then will you have bested me and only then may you pass into the Abode of Learning. If however you are bested, you will be exiled to the Hills of Ignorance for thirty nights - a fair price to pay. However, if you dare attempt to confuse the Gods of logic by speaking in paradoxes or indetermination, you will burn in the Depths of Imprudence forever - an exact recompense."

Upon climbing atop the shoulders of the giant, the hero begins to ponder... how can the veracity of our statements be different if he will only repeat exactly what I say? Indeed, our hero is not wise. But you, dear reader, are among the wisest intellectuals of them all. So go forth and defeat the giant; enter into the halls of unparalleled erudition; step into the realm of unforeseen truth and never look back!
